Stick Mantis

Uploaded: April 29, 2006

Description

This is Stick Mantis (Brunneria borealis), which is a mantis; this fellow is highly camouflaged and unless he moves it is almost impossible for us to find out that he is there!
What I like in the picture is the way this guy blends with the surrounding and waits for his prey, amazing! Even though the picture is soft and not that sharp, I wanted to show how well this creature uses camouflage!!!
As always thanks for visiting, your critiques and comments!
