Wonderful shot Richard! I like the way the forefront (top half)is so rich with detail and the bottom so soft and blurry! Nicely done. Great color too! #235957

Thank you Cynthia, Leanne, Patricia & Stephen! Your comments are very much appreciated. I was frustrated because the local nurseries are closed at 4:00pm and I couldn't find any subjects to shoot. I bit the bullet and went to the florist to purchase a few flowers. I shot this in my backyard at about 6:30pm which was already pretty dark. I used an off camera flash aimed at a gold reflector sitting on a chair next to the gerber in a vase. I wasn't happy with the images I got from the front of the flower so I started to turn the flower to view it from different angles. I turned the flower around, and I saw all this color! I loved the unique angle and I just shot. I have included other examples below. Thanks again! #236077
