Thanks Roseanne for your thoughts on this strange photo. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I was having a few computer problems about that time, and I missed out on being notified about your comment. The picture was taken while we were having a picnic in a National Park near Sydney. The white cockatoos came to share our lunch, so they had to pay by letting me take their photo. #273349

This photo is actually a little creepy! It also looks like there are mirrors and only 1 bird! This is very striking. It made me laugh especially your comment. All your photos are wonderful. I am just learning with the same typ of camera as you... so you give me faith in my camera! #4282040

WOW! You certainly went back through a few pages in my gallery to find this one, Miranda! Thank you for your comment.
I found the C730UZ a great little camera, considering I didn't know the first thing about digital cameras when I bought my first one. The huge zoom range (for its time) sold me on it, and I have thousands of great images taken with it. I now have an Olympus digital SLR E300 which I am more than happy with, and in many ways it is superior to the later E500 model. #4282496

Thanks Wm, these white cockatoos are real characters, I think they have the best sense of humor of any bird I have ever met! #8453265
