This was taken along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was like the two horses standing guard over the one laying on the ground.

Judith I actually used a Diffuser filter here along with the slight fog and I got a dreamy look, and was more pleased with the out come than if I had used the Dreamy Photo effect. I am trying to be more creative with my filters. #232633

Awesome shot Darren. Truly magnificent creatures and you've captured them and their surroundings very well. As a horse lover this is certainly a favorite of mine. And it is quite possible that they are standing guard over the one on the ground. Mine will do that sometimes as well. One will stand watch while the other sleeps. Course sometimes you look out in the field and they are both laying down, out cold, down for the count. Sometimes have to look twice to make sure they are still breathing (LOL)!!! #634225
