Why thanks so much Jacque, Jim, and Janine, really appreciate the comments. And so many "J" names too LOL.

I really love how this one came out. That eagle was having a blast playing in the water. Quite a few of the pics were way too blurry as he wouldn't stay still, splashing, and dunking his head and rolling around in the water, and early morning without much light in this area was really rough. I am pretty amazed that I was able to get this as sharp as it seeing that it was handheld at 1/125 shutter with the 70-300 fully extended. I was SO concentrating on holding my hands steady that I am surprised I remember to click the button LOL

WOW, STUNNING SHOT JODY!!! I can really relate to the difficulty in capturing birds when they're bathing!! I haven't had any success yet! I've only captured them with sharp, clear faces and a blur of tail and body. WELL DONE!!! #2648800

Thanks SO much Lynne, really appreciate it, as I said above, that was a handheld camera with a 70 - 300 lens at about full magnification, it was so great to see a couple of the dozens I took come out so good!!
