Description

The morning light reflects off this male Anhinga as his electric breeding colors and plumage come to life. Image captured at Anhinga Trail, Royal Palm, ENP, Florida with Canon 1-D Mark II N, f/10 @1/1250 with -2/3 ec. Note - f/10 allowed a deeper depth of field allowing the head detail good sharpness while still blurring the vegetation and water in the background, which in turn brings focus to your subject.
