Da Vinci - just a little bit!

Description

Taken 30th March about 7.30pm, this is the West door of Rosslyn Chapel, which lies 8 miles south of Edinburgh, only a few miles from my home. Was a very historic and well known chapel before the Da Vinci code, but is world famous now.

Rosslyn chapel is a beautiful old building that goes back to 1400. At the moment has a huge covering as the stone needs to dry out as milldew was growing on the inside of the roof. The covering has been on for a few years and I think will be on for a few yet, which is a real shame from a photographers point of view, but great that the building is being preserved.

This is GORGEOUS !!! You might want to save this too....the Catholic Church has refused to allow Tom Hanks to film the second film Angels and Demons ( The second part of the divinchi code ) in thier churchs. I read all about it the other day.
