Thanks Ross! This was created right after a blizzard in northern Washington. In fact, it provides a good cautionary tale. Just after this, I ventured into the snow without snoeshoes and got quite stuck. If I was alone I would have been toast. Fortunately, my wife (and son) were there to help pull me out. My first stop after getting home was REI - to buy snowshoes. If you see yourself going out this winter to get great snowscapes (it just snowed here again last night), be sure to get snowshoes and always go out with at least one travel partner.

Thanks again for your comments! #3638572

Ha! that would be true. We are just starting a new season of snow over here, so more adventures will be had soon. #6860270
