Description

While our daughter was playing the piano, (ah...music of angels) I was struck with inspiration. In this portrait, her love of music and mine, photography, intertwine to make a beautiful marriage. This photo will always be dear to my heart.

This image is amazing! I was wondering if you manipulated in on comp (doubt you did), and if you could give us detalis on how it was taken (filter use would be great)

I congratulate you once again.

Rock on,

Thank you Vasko and Debbie. I am delighted as this is a special photo to me. Vasko, the lighting was created this way: As my daughter was playing, she was backlit with a 250 watt tungsten bulb placed about waist height covered with wet white cloth to soften the lighting and create the mood. My objective was to not only create a silhouette of her but have light cast onto her music so positioning the lighting took a few tries. Now you all know my secret! #5937
