Lizard Leg

1/30 @ F5.6 - ISO 400 - 18-70mm @ 70mm. Taken in the reptile house at the Fort Worth Zoo through glass enclosure. I love the textural intricacies of these reptiles. Nature's designs can be breathtaking.

What impact, Mike! The texture, the light, the POV, all fantastic. And tack sharp DOF at f/5.6?! #2576922Mike F. Anderson March 26, 2006
Yeah, I had to use F5.6 with the 400 ISO to get the shutter up to 1/30 since it was hand held and I didn't want blur movement. The lizard was actually a little farther away so the distance helped the dof. Then I blew it up and cropped out the image I was after. #2576943Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
