Description

Taken on a dirt road through Byrdcliffe Arts Colony in Woodstock, NY 8/04 This fawn crossed my path, slowly, munching on leaves, and in no hurry so close to me. I took several pictures, moved to the left a bit to get another angle and startled it's twin, who was lying next to a rock. I had no idea the 2nd one was there. A truly spellbinding moment.

Another absolutely captivating image, Claudia! This is gorgeous.Such clarity. Almost translucent, like a "fairie deer!" Love the texture, smoothness, lighting and effects. As for an "old photo" -- ? A photograph once taken, is Forever. Otherwise, they could take down the work of Ansel Adams, Diane Arbus, etc. etc. etc. No such thing as an "out of date" photograph, as far as I can see! They transcend time and space. This one does, and is just so excellent! #2491734
