OK, I'll "Bite" How did you do this?
It's eye catching but I know this dog didn't have fire flying from his feet. #57292

It's pretty simple. We live out in a small agriculture town where dust seem to settle on everything. We were walking dried mud where cars park (see tire prints). I noticed the dust smoke being made by Hallie's prancing so I kicked a nearby rock to get her dancing around it (she loves to retrieve and you'll notice a rock in front of her left paw).

The sunset was beautiful too and illuminated the dust smoke, as this photo was taken around 7:15 pm.

Photo was then converted in RAW while I increased temperature slightly to acheive this effect. It was then resized and sharpened in Photoshop.

Aha! It is a rather convincing effect. I'm glad you explained it before someone contacted the ASPCA. :) It's a great picture of Hallie. She's seems like a very happy dog. #189229

Really "hot" shot, Tim! Love it! #189240

Thanks Jean!

Jennifer, I would NEVER attempt to light fire on my labrador. She's my little baby. :) Thanks! #189244

I thought I recognized that tail from the dog pendulum winning photo from July. I checked out your gallery and I was right! What a photogenic animal! #189604

Another awesome and clever shot.... It's good to see that her fame hasn't gone to her head and she still likes to play in the dirt..... She is a gorgeous dog. #189620
