Grabber - She waits

Description

1/30s f2.8 at 40mm ISO 100
I took this grabber while doing the bus stop study for last week's assignment. A sad thing about living in Thailand is the sex industry which is just about everywhere. This young girl is a prostitute working the street in China Town. A very sad scene which needs little explanation. I converted the image to black and white using channel mixer (thanks wei lei for the link! it was brill). I also slightly cropped it and rotated it as I shot it from my lap. There were also some bright area (the man's shirt in the middle of the pic and some parts of the phone box) which I lowered the brightness of.

Exif: FNumber: 3.2, ExposureBiasValue: 0/100, ExposureTime: 6.66666666666667E-02, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 100, WhiteBalance: auto white balance
