Prarie Dog

Uploaded: January 18, 2006

Description

I got this shot at MEE'S Zoo outside the tiny town of Parker City, Indiana. I camped out 6 feet away for about an hour and used an entire bag of peanuts to coax him out. He wasn't very trusting but eventually he made a dash for a peanut. I cloned out the peanuts to disguise the fact that I bribed him. I got 2 good shots out of 20 or so tries. He was a quick little guy.

This is a neat shot. How did you get close enough to the prairie dog to get the picture. The lines are very clear. #376828
