I stayed in Sante Fe for a winter when I first started shooting....I wish I had know what I know now back then, because I missed so many great shots...Some day I will have to go back :-) It was the most magical place to be during the Christmas season, well anytime...This is a great shot! I love window photos and this is special! #375963

Definitely get back there if you can Jill! You have to go to the Shidoni foundry and make sure to have your camera ready! Walking down the canyon drive and art walks makes you want to move there. Everyday things like window take on a whole new meaning. They illuminate with colors and textures so different from the ticky-tact homes of suburbia. It is like when you walk the streets in Europe and sense history all around you. #2296610

I have been to Shidoni many times :-)The Tesuque Glassworks is cool too, to be able to watch them blowing beautiful pieces of glass, and I love that little market up the road for lunch and then on to the Flea market :-) #2405392

Hi Jill-

Yes, I've also watched the glass being blown. It is an amazing place and I love all the art that is on the grounds. I haven't been to the flea market yet, but I'll be sure to check it out next time. I'm due for another trip there! >:-) #2406728

Very nice combination of tones and textures. The bird makes an unexpected, but pleasing counterpoint. #2458811
