Moonset, Wilkerson Pass 3
Description: Galen Rowell described it as the "twilight wedge", where the earth's cool shadow gives way to the warmer colors of daylight (and vice versa for the end of the day). The moonset series I shot at Wilkerson Pass shows this better than any I've done. The light changes dramatically as the moon sets through the haze and the sun rises. Tripod-mounted Nikon N65 with Nikkor ED 70-300mm lens.
