Thanks all for your comments. This was taken last February 2 on my birthday. I took about a 100 pictures at Auschwitz that day and it has become my most memorable birthday ever.

Wow, I certainly didn't expect this. Thank you Cynthia, Margie, Guy, and Lorri.
It's an image that has haunted me since I took it. Looking out of this cold barn toward what should be freedom only shows a gaurd tower and barbed wire. If I hadn't taken the time to think about and frame this shot my emotional response might have been a lot less.
