I captured this photo near dusk on a fall day. There was a gentle breeze moving through this bush of flowers. As I studied the bees I noticed some moved quickly from flower to flower. Others were methodical remaining on a single flower moving slightly as they worked and then lifting up slowly before moving to a neighboring flower. This bee was the latter and allowed me to time my shots to coincide with lift off. I was delighted when the bee moved straight towards my camera.
