I used to work up the block, & would find a reason to go by this statue...Exceent Composition, So Cool! #1716794

Thanks, Harvey. During the few years I was working in NYC I found this location one I always enjoyed walking through or go to for a break morning or evening. Very few people know that Rockefeller lined up the Atlas statue with the center of the Alter in St. Patrick's so one would see (when viewed as in the picture) the symbol of the crucified Christ across from the Church. Most everyone takes the shot of Atlas from the front side. Good stuff. #11734650
