Description

It's sunset after a rain shower. A mysterious woman all dressed in black, stands on the beach, staring into the distance. She stands here every night for awhile, always dressed in black. Tonight she has an umbrella to hide behind, making her even more mysterious. What is she watching and waiting for? The days of waiting for sailors and fishermen to come home are gone. Something must pull her here, every night. Or perhaps it is just her way of winding down for the day.
Original image of the ocean at sunset was taken at the Southern Oregon Coast. The image of the sand with footprints was taken at the Oregon Coast and was added as a composit image.
The woman in black was added as a composite image.
This image was processed with Nik Color Efex Pro and Photoshops Oil Paint Filter.
I used the smudge tool to pull the water onto the sand.
