Carillon

Description

The Netherlands Carillon, a modern, skeletal steel frame bell tower located in Arlington National Cemetery, appears ghostly from DC, across the Potomac River during an intensely foggy day. The entire foreground is the Potomac, fogged over, while more dense fog clings to the trees that rise on the hills of Arlington beyond. B/W conversion, and then I opted to push the greyish fog closer to all-white, for more contrast with the bare trees.
