This Loggerhead Shrike seems to love our backyard and this little Maple tree. Taken, using a mono pod, Canon 100-400 mm L lens at 400, IS activated, with 1.4 teleconverter (for total of 560 mm) and a 21 mm extension tube for even more which allows closer focus and less DOF. F8, 1/800, ISO 1650.

Thank you, John and Chuck. Gives me something to do on a cloudy cold day like today! I experiment with the equipment and just see what it will do. Learning curve! <>< #11554662Amalia Sylvia Arriaga Salinas January 16, 2017
