Kailasha Temple#2

In continuation of my earlier post from Ellora caves in the West of India, this is the top view of the Kailasha temple. I went up the monolithic rock formation to get this perspective, you can clearly see how the rock was excavated from top to bottom and scooped out. As mentioned earlier, work for this temple started in 735 AD and continued for 200 years.
