ACC Demo (A10 west) Remembering those lost in Pearl Harbor. This plane is not supposed to be able to fly upside down however at this airshow multiple captures reveal that it is possible. A composite of 5 captures.

Fantastic image for today Doc! Demonstration teams like the Thunderbirds add a small fuel pump to the top of one tank (becomes the bottom of the tank when the aircraft is inverted) that allows the aircraft to fly inverted for longer period of times. Without the additional pump the F-16 has about 6 seconds of time that it can remain inverted before the engine hiccupps. I suspect that the A-10 Demo Team is using something similar in one tank to give it short periods of inverted flight time without cavitating the main fuel pumps and starving the engine of fuel. #11543832

My great grandson was born last year on Pearl Harbor day, and when I said, "he's a Pearl Harbor baby" my granddaughter said...."what's that?" They just don't teach history like they used to!! #11543931
