Thank you so much, Amy & Len!

Amy ~ I filled a glass pie plate with an inch or so of water and prefocused my camera to a certain spot while I dropped water into the plate with an eye dropper. There was ambient light in the room from above and from the side. Needless to say, a tripod was an absolute must, along with lots of patience and time! 1/60, f 5.6, ISO 400, with 100 mm macro lens.

Hope this helps!

Congratulations on this being a finalist!!! Thank you for sharing your technique also!!! How did you get all that awesome color? #2316482

Sherri Conley January 21, 2006

Thank you, Amy! I thought I was forgetting something! The glass pie plate was sitting on top of a bunch of balloons and I also did some tweaking with the levels and saturation in PS.
Thanks again! #2316570
