Description

It's not often we can say we went back in time like I was able to on this day. Driving from one castle to the next. But it's true. I was traveling from One Danish Castle, (that I actually spent the night in), to the next Danish Castle!! It was a dream come true for me and now you get to see something that I saw along the way! In the way my imagination saw it!

Note: In the original photo, there was a car parked in the driveway and there were poles and posts I took out. I replaced the two way street with a new roadway and gave the photo paint crackle, warm colors and mood! I hope you like it! -Laura :)

This photo is Dedicated to Kiki and Leif Kjaer. We were on our way to meet them and spend the most wonderful day ever with them taking photos and enjoying a day I wish that time would once again take me back to.

This warms my heart in more than one way, my SSSLala.
It's an outstanding painting that should hang above my sofa. It was actually paintings like this that hang above sofas in homes of my grandparents and greatgrandparaents.
I love the warm colors (I can almost feel the warmth of the day) and I love the painted look.
Having you visiting Denmark was an adventure. Looking at images like this shows your love for my country and in my eyes it's a winner. #1672110

SSSKiki it is my great honor to have you be the first person here to tell me what you have. Thank you!! Wow. Just imagine. I have created something that reminds you of your family and local art. You know this is one of the many things I loved so much about your country. To visit places and towns and homes that were hundreds of years old. Things built to last. Ageless beauty. And such style. This photo was begging me to take it back in time just a little. And yes, I loved your country very much. It's steadfast and charming. It's quiet and strong and sure. I hope nothing and no one every takes the old country homes down to make it them new buildings? It will be a very sad day. They ARE DENMARK! I have so many more photos I will work on but I need the magical combination I am looking for. This one is close. I want something like the Rembrandt effect and I have never seen that filter. I mixed 7 things together to do what I did here. It was a job!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your VERY CHERISHED COMMENTS!
