My question now is this the same or a different Dragon Fly? and did you talk to this one too... Again a WOW #11508663Shirley D. Freeman August 23, 2016
Same one, Randall, and yes, I talked to him too while taking this photo. I started out from him and worked my way in closer, all the while talking softly to him. It doesn't work on all of them, but a few will stay put for their photo shoot! I appreciate your comments. Have a blessed day. <>< #11508667G. Margaret Hennes August 24, 2016
Wonderful macro Shirley! What lens did you use to get this level of detail? #11509101Shirley D. Freeman August 25, 2016
Thank you, Margaret. I used Canon's 100mm L macro lens. It was hand held using an off camera flash with diffuser at f13, 1/125 and ISO 250. This is my set up for most of my macros that you see in my gallery (at least the later ones). I saw this set up on YouTube and started using it. <>< #11509167Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
