The photo title is also the name of this variety of dahlia. I don't often buy flowers, but when I saw these at the farmer's market last weekend, I knew I had to bring some home. The farmer's grandson told me they are his grandfather's favorite variety. Shot in muted window light. (Not a sepia conversion; this is their actual color.)
