Description

A cloudy day sports a rock debris field, which also shows an alluvial fan formed from mountain wash. The scene can be found above the Independence Mine Historic Park, Hatcher's Pass, near Palmer, Alaska.

Thanks, Sylvia, Amanda, Nikki, and Michele! It's actually so beautiful to look at the rocky field at Hatcher's Pass, especially during a cloudy, misty day in Fall. Brings out all the colors and greens of the mosses and grass. My grandkids when they visited loved to bounce all over the rocks in the field. And Michele, it's neat that your husband is from Wasilla. Not sure if you've been there, but if you haven't, you will have to go. Hatcher's Pass was one of my favorite places to visit in the area. I sure hope I can get back there one day! #11492586
