Description

Photo taken in Camargue region of France, the only place in the world where these horses live. They are the oldest horses known to exist. in this shot the horses were running through a deep muddy marsh and I was standing ankle deep in mud and swatting mosquitos off of me. Wildlife photography is so not romantic!

They are proud, very strong, and yet also kind. After each race, the horses would have time to rest, and would come up to us for a pet, allowed us to come up to them and pet and photograph them and were just very special horses. #11483494
