Rain at Sacre Couer

Description

Sacre Couer, on Montmartre, is one of the most beautiful basilicas I've ever seen. It's unfortunate that one cannot take interior photos.

We spent a lot exploring the basilica because of heavy rains. But, the image demonstrates why one should never leave the camera behind just because it's raining.

It also demonstrates why shooting in RAW is important; the JPEG version just didn't show the threatening sky. I don't recall why I set such a high ISO but the grain surely helped make the picture.
