Size didn't seem to matter to these turtles, they all were sunning themselves along the bank at Assateague Island, VA.

This is SO cool Shirley, and you got reflections of all 3, if I didn't know better, I would say it was mom and the kids!!! <>< #1657246Shirley D. Freeman May 06, 2016
Thank you, Nancy. I am glad you liked it. I thought at first that it was a family too, but when we looked closer, we could see that the smaller turtles were a different breed than the large one. #11471226Claudia Kuhn May 07, 2016

I love turtles. They stick their feet out like that to dry them in the sun. This is a great capture. Good job capturing the reflections as well. #11472636Shirley D. Freeman May 10, 2016
Thank you, Nadine. Also, I didn't realize that turtles stuck their feet out like that to dry them. Thanks for that info. #11472640Emile Abbott May 22, 2016
