Description

Our Dear Sweet Ellen Is Gone.
It happened so fast. Her last post on BetterPhoto as the 24th of April and she passed on the 26th of April, suddenly. Such a shock and terrible loss.

Coincidentally her birthday was on October 31st.
the same birthday of our Wm Nosal who also recently passed away.

This is from Ellen's Obituary:
Funeral Wednesday 9:15am from Donnellan Funeral Home 10525 S. Western Ave. Chicago to St. Thomas More Church Tridentine Requiem Mass 10am. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 2-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poor Clares of the Immaculate Conception 12210 Will-Cook Rd. Palos Park, IL. 60464.

So very sad to lose dear ones that are close to our hearts. I hope her beautiful gallery will remain here. My condolences and sympathies to those who loved this dear woman. She was a very kind woman who encouraged me in my beginning days and I will miss her. Thank you Laura for such a beautiful card and tribute. Remember always to celebrate her life for she is now more alive than while walking this earth. Her light is brighter than ever and we will see her again. #11469036

When my mother was in the final stages of her long illness, out of the blue Ellen asked me for my home address. During the course of many months, she sent my Mom little cheerful cards and many prayer cards - always ending her notes with "I'll be praying for you". I'll never forget her compassion and kindness to a woman she never met and how she opened her heart generously to make those final months a bit easier. This was the grand "stuff" Ellen was made of. Rest in peace, dearest friend. #11469560
