Good Morning, Nancy! Believe these little gems are called blue curls (phacelia congesta)..I only know because I photographed them also recently, never saw the likes of them before and got an ID from the Wildflower Center. Beautiful blue and wonderful details, Nancy - looks great against the spring green b/g! #1657214
