Utensils as Tools?

Uploaded: April 05, 2016 | Entered: April 05, 2016 07:31:38

Description

For 101 Utensils & Tools theme.
I have often been told to use the right tool for the job. But isn't a dinner knife good as a screwdriver and a fork as a prying tool? Sometimes that does not work as illustrated here. These are all photos of our kitchen utensils. Most were digitally "damaged". But, to my wife's chagrin, I really did use 2 of them inappropriately. Can you guess which ones? I'll post the answer later in the discussion.

Excellent work, Wally! You should teach classes! I'll guess the droopy spoon, and the ladle.

What a fun capture Wally. I would guess one the 2 right squiggly forks, or the scissors. #11457358

Great fun. I would definitely vote for a knife - except I'm not sure how I would damage either of those to that extent. I just know I find them very useful for use as everything from a screwdriver to a chisel for prying. I guess the sponge and what looks to be a rubber spatula. #11457381

Little shop of kitchen horrors here, Wally. I think I'm with Bob on the guess. #11457425

Ingenious Wally, great post work to create this masterpiece. My guess is the yellow knife spreader and the spatula! #11457475

Thanks all for playing along. The two I ruined are the Yellow covered icing spatula, which I used to apply texture paint to many of my walls and the ladle, which was discolored when I heated it with a torch to melt lead. #11457590

Lol.... my family guessed before looking at the answer and got close! Well done, as always! Thanks for the fun. #11457641
