Description

...In the 1920's, Henry Ford was considering turning Sudbury MA, into a "manufactured village" of Americana. As part of his idea, he took the famed "Mary Had a Little Lamb" Little Red Schoolhouse from Sterling, MA, loaded it onto a truck and moved it to Sudbury, where it still stands today. His idea ended up falling through (and later became reality in Henry Ford's Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan).

I love the story and was so glad that Henry did'nt just rip it down to get it out of the way. Its stands out so beautiful with that red among the trees all around it, as if protecting it. The snow just adds that beautiful winter scene that is so beautiful. A gorgeous look this is Gail. #11434860
