In Buddhism, Wei Tuo Bodhissattva is one of eight divine warriors. He is the devout guardian of Buddhist monasteries.
This is dedicated to Laura Swan, who joined me in a visit to the second largest Buddhist monastery in America, in September, 2014.

From this beautiful picture I would say that the visit was a wonderful one. The details here are so sharp and clear, the colors stand out beautifully. Love the way you framed the picture and the wonderful information that you passed on to us. Gorgeous work girl. Take care, be safe. #11423599Jeff Robinson January 16, 2016

Good company on a photoshoot is a real bonus Mary! A beautiful work of art and dedication! #11423731Laura E. Swan January 16, 2016
Mare!! :)))))))) What an honor! Thank you for this very awesome dedication. Our time together was so precious. You planned the perfect day and it was. Forever in my heart, just as you are. I had no idea our Monastery was the 2nd largest in the USA! I'd say Wei Tuo Bodhissattva is doing as great a job of protecting it as you did taking his photo!! Talk about beautiful memories for us both. A quiet day spent in our element! Together!! :) -Love, Royal Palm :D Hahahaha! (See Jeff's comment). #11423747Amalia Sylvia Arriaga Salinas January 16, 2016

Love your dedication shot to Laura, Mary!! I'll bet you guys had a wonderful time shooting together! #11424267Mary K. Robison January 18, 2016
Thanks, Ellen and Terry. Glad you like this. And, yes, we had a wonderful time. By some great fortune, we were not bumping into other visitors. Aside from a few nuns and monks, the monastery was uncrowded that day, enabling us to take photos of shrines, etc., without someone stepping into the photo. :) #11424357Kirsten Kiki Kjaer January 18, 2016
An impressive figure, that's for sure. And all the golden hues and details greatly captured, Mary. #11424433Mary K. Robison January 19, 2016
