Description

Located at the confluence of the Tolga and Volga rivers near Yaroslavl stand the magnificent Tolga Monastery of presentation of Virgin that was founded in 1314 constructed first in wood dismanteled in 1681 and new construction done. Bell tower was added between 1683 and 1685. There is a nice description via google. Over next few day I will upload some other views as we passed by on our river cruise.
