I remember years ago my uncle giving us some of these to grow, he said they were the only thing that lasted at his place with 5 kids!! And ours lasted even after he visited with all his family... A great reminder of years gone by & a beautiful image also=^..^= #1643152Jeff Robinson November 22, 2015

I don't think for the life of me Mary that I have ever seen one of these and boy did I miss out. You got yourself a winner here.. This is absolutely beautiful and what amazing work you did with the composing. Then needles can cause some serious damage. Then you show us some of the most gorgeous flowers of red with the heart of each flower being seen. It has it all, incredible in its beauty Mary. A favorite.Ellen Hodges November 22, 2015

I used to grow crown of thorns when we lived in Florida - and you're right - best to leave these fellows alone and enjoy their beauty from afar! These flowers are so tiny - this is one magnificent close-up showing the detail and intricacy of the flowers, as well as the beauty of the unfurled buds, not to mention, those wicked thorns! :) Excellent close-up work here, Mary - you nailed it wonderfully! #11402210Amalia Sylvia Arriaga Salinas November 23, 2015
