Grisaille Windows

These three windows can be found in the First Congregational Church in Jackson, Michigan. The window style is called grisaille which normally refers to a painting done entirely in greyish or neutral tones. In windows it refers to sections of stained glass windows that are etched or painted in silver or grey in contrast to more brightly colored sections.
