The image communicates a sense of peace and tranquility. I have always been a fan of shooting churches myself, simply because the buildings reflect amazing architecture and design. Excellent theme entry. #1640333

Yes, it works well in B&W. I suspect it's super-busy in color... this way, the lines lead to the altar - and the light/dome above it emphasize that central subject, too. They can't afford to build these churches like they used to. #11388781
