Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Sc.

Urquhart Castle was a medieval fortress which saw lots of conflict between 1200 and 1600. Today, it stands roofless and was regarded as a romantic ruin by 19th century painters and visitors.

It is so amazing how these ruins can still hold a charm and interest. I love the pov and composing to began with.I enjoy the depth with the water and land on the other side. That bridge leading to the castle is quite a work itself. Beautiful colors and amazing details Debbie. #11377247
