Sir Edward Barton.

I came across this statue of Sir Edward Barton, Australia’s first Prime Minister on a sunrise shoot at Port Macquarie, back in 2011. The tricky lighting was from an overhead street light, and the first rays of the days sunlight. I thought it was very fitting for the statue to be erected outside the Star Hotel, which has been there since 1891, just before Sir Edward was elected as the member for the district, in Parliament.
