Simply beautiful, Kiki. Terrific job on the symmetrical composition. It always astounds me to think that so many buildings in Europe were built nearly two THOUSAND years ago, and still are standing today! The U.S. is such a baby by comparison.
I am curious about one thing: the middle candle holder on the altar has seven candles. Doesn't that make it a Jewish menorah? If so, why is it in a church? Inquiring minds want to know!
Have a great week, my friend. #11308588

Now how is it that we went to this very church together, stood in the same spot at different times and yet I do NOT have this image? You are a master photographer and this came out so beautifully! I'd be proud of this image if I could only find it on my SD card! Maybe if I bite the edge of it, then it will show up? :D I am so happy YOUR SD card has no defects and that your prized image is in tact and into the contest. What a wonderful piece of living history this place was. It was an honor! -SSSLala :))) #11321967

:) :) :) Sister, you capture far better indoor images than I do, and you see so much that I don't see, so I take this compliment to my heart. Thank you!!! #11321968
