Description

This ship was the 1st of the Iowa class and saw action mostly during WWII in the Pacific. It was in service from 1943-1949, 1951-1958 and again from 1984-1990. The USS Iowa has been brought to Los Angeles at the San Pedro Harbor as a museum ship.
