Found this in one of my books. Don't remember placing it there, so I have no idea how old it is.

I love the remnants of the purple edging holding onto the petals...keeping a bit of it's past glory despite time passed. Kind of sad in a way but at the same time, it makes me smile at it's tenacious spirit! OK, I wax and wane poetically when I can just say this is one heckuva technically perfect and wonderful image - that captures the imagination and tells a wonderful story, as well!
