Description

La Sainte-Chapelle (The Holy Chapel) is a 13th-century Gothic chapel on the Île de la Cité in the heart of Paris, France. It was built by Louis IX for use as his royal chapel.

I put my Sony p&s camera on the floor pointed at the ceiling and set it up using the timer...And prayed that nobody would step on it!

This is outstanding, Rey! Your composition, as symmetrical as you could get it, is so beautifully balanced, with the ribs so gracefully curved. At the same time, the light through the stained-glass windows lights up the ribs' wood, and makes the textures shine.
I admire your setup (with a point-and-shoot, no less). You did everything right, my friend, and it shows. Love it! Fave!
