The Rock!
Uploaded: March 25, 2015 | Entered: March 25, 2015 12:28:14
We noticed a strange phenomenon during our stay in Armidale, many property owners would place a rock on one of their gate posts, and on rare occasions even a normal fence post would be adorned likewise. I am curious as to the origin of this habit, so if anyone can enlighten me it would be appreciated.

John, I'll bet the rock is there to prop the gate open if you're driving thru. When you close the gate, you put the rock back on the post for next use! #11271544Jeff Sielski March 25, 2015
