Description

***
Bi-colored Spider Mums. Photo taken 3-19-15 with available lighting.
I want to give a shout-out to Leeann, who works in the floral department of our local Ralphs grocery store. She is one of the nicest people I've ever met while photographing flowers. She allows me to shoot anything and everything on display, no matter how long I take. Yesterday I shot for more than an hour and took more than 300 photos...
What a ray of sunshine she is! Thank you, Leeann!

Such beautiful colour and clarity, Mary, how lovely that Leeann allows you to take your time photographing the flowers down at the grocery store. I generally just have to buy them and bring them home to capture! #11268223

Very beautiful Mary, nice mention of Leeann!
I like when clerks get a kind praise, a lot of time people are too quick to criticize. #11268283

Thanks for commenting, Teresa! The manager at a different store said,"Absolutely no photos!!" Guess they want to force people to buy them. I see their side. But she said it like a cranky ol' schoolmarm. :-/
Thank heavens for people like Leeann! #11270744

Beautiful spring flowers. Nice detail too. I have never seen the new buds wrapped like that. I like that there are 5 babies and 5 full blossoms. #11271663
