Fort with a View

Description

Jaipur, India
The rugged Jaigarh Fort, located on one of the peaks of the Aravalli range of hills was built by Jai Singh II in 1726 to protect the Amber Fort and its palace complex ( 400 meter on top ), this shot was taken from one of the balconies attached to the royal corridor, standing there I realized why this fort was never invaded - surely the royal family used to enjoy the wonderful view that also provided them a sense of security.
